They wanted the facility’s design to respect tribal heritage but also to exude an atmosphere of fun and relaxation. more Mission Hospital Patient Care Tower04-26-10“We chose Alucobond for cladding because of its flexibility, durability and high quality,” said Sylvia Botero, AIA, LEED AP, senior vice president, RBB Architects. “Alucobond imposes very few design limitations; and, this project featured any number of cylindrical and radial shapes. Alucobond allowed for these sculpted forms. It gave us freedom of design. And, because the hospital is located within four miles of the Pacific Ocean, we needed a corrosion-resistant panel. We’ve used Alucobond panels on other projects and know they perform well.” more Minnetonka Schools03-09-10The Minnetonka, Minn., High School is considered the flagship of Minnetonka Public School District #276, which serves approximately 8,400 students in grades K-12 in this suburban community located just eight miles west of Minneapolis in Hennepin County. As such, it was the first among the district’s schools to receive a facelift completed in January 2009 that included a secure entry and office space within a two-story beacon-like rotunda. more Jumer’s Casino & Hotel10-01-09The new Jumer's Casino & Hotel in Rock Island, Ill., was designed to bring a Las Vegas-style gaming experience to the Midwest – opening in December 2008 as a replacement for the company's Casino Rock Island Riverboat, which had been moored since 1992 on the Mississippi River in downtown Rock Island. more Tempe, Ariz.
