Energy Company Headquarters Becomes First LEED Platinum Office Building In Canada

Manitoba Hydro is the fourth largest energy utility company in Canada. Producing nearly all of its energy from self-renewing waterpower, the company offers some of the lowest electricity rates in the world. The Manitoba Hydro headquarters enabled the merging of the companies 15 different locations to accommodate the 1,650 employees on 21 floors. The headquarters is one of the most energy efficient office buildings in the world, showcasing the importance of healthy building. The project was designed with five distinct goals: healthy and productive workspace, energy efficiency, sustainability, signature architecture and a positive urban impact on Downtown Winnipeg. Alucobond Aluminum Composite Material 3D BIM Files Now Available On Autodesk Seek

Alucobond BIM Autodesk Seek 3A Composites USA is pleased to announce that Alucobond® Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) 3-D Building Information Modeling (BIM) files – as well as two-dimensional Alucobond drawings and product specifications – now are available on Autodesk Seek. Alucobond 3-D BIM files will be previewed at the Alucobond Booth No. 2913 at the 2015 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo Nov. 18-19 in Washington, D.C. (more…)
