Davidson, NC  – November 30, 2022 – 3A Composites USA is pleased to announce that ALUCOBOND® AXCENT™, its line of flat aluminum sheets, is now available in three thicknesses – .040”, .063” and .080”. The expansion of the ALUCOBOND AXCENT line is a testament to the company’s more than 50 years of reputable performance and its investment in continuous improvement and innovation as it enters the metal facade market with a larger offering. While the original .040” thickness is well-suited for commercial projects that specify painted metal trim for windows, high-traffic entryways and elements such as fascia, flashing and roof caps, ALUCOBOND® AXCENT™ .063” and .080” provides robust additional capabilities.

ALUCOBOND® PLUS Selected as Winner in the Finishes/Surfaces Outdoor Category

3A Composites USA is pleased to announce that its product, ALUCOBOND® PLUS, was named winner of the Finishes/Surfaces Outdoor Category in Architect Newspaper’s 8th Annual Best of Products Awards.  Winners were chosen by a jury of architects, designers, educators, curators and manufacturers, along with the magazine’s editors. The University of Texas (UT) at Austin opened its 2021 Texas Longhorns football season Sept. 4 by debuting its new approximately $175-million 240,000 square-foot south end zone expansion that not only fully encloses the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium for the first time in the 97-year history of the previously horseshoe-shaped sports arena but includes an industry-first team logo carved into the new seating bowl.
