Tasked with implementing the global brand’s fresh, modern aesthetic for its restaurants, he needed a solution that could meet exacting design standards, withstand a tropical climate and be installed quickly and efficiently. During his research, Tsavoussis discovered ALUCOBOND\u00ae PLUS and contacted 3A Composites USA. While he was initially expecting to use a traditional dry reveal installation method, one call with the 3A Composites USA team changed everything. He was introduced to the ALUCOBOND  EasyFix system, an innovative solution that enables field fabrication and installation without the need for a CNC machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen I learned about the EasyFix system it immediately made sense, and I knew it was the solution we needed,\u201d Tsavoussis shared. \u201cThe simplicity of the system meant we could hand route and bend the panels on-site, which was critical.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onsite fabrication and ease of installation was a game-changer. It not only removed layers of cost associated with off-site fabrication, but also allowed the team to work quickly and with confidence. The new Wendy\u2019s design required a precise color palette to match the global brand\u2019s standards. Using ALUCOBOND\u00ae PLUS standard finishes, Tsavoussis was able to meticulously create a vibrant, cohesive look. The building\u2019s facade now features a striking combination of Greyhound, Anodic Clear Mica, Chestnut and Red Fire, which perfectly embodies the brand\u2019s updated aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe finished product looks beautiful, and we were able to get the exact finishes that the brand required,\u201d Tsavoussis noted. \u201cIt\u2019s been eight months since its completion, and the building\u2019s colors remain vibrant and the facade is proving to be incredibly low maintenance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the material was a perfect fit for the local climate. The building was already waterproofed, but Tsavoussis required a material and installation method that would pass stringent wind tests, providing critical protection against hurricanes.  ALUCOBOND PLUS and EasyFix delivered.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
