DAVIDSON, N.C. \u2013 September 25, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 3A Composites Americas<\/a> has named Leda Ochoa vice president of operations. This leadership appointment reflects 3A Composites’ commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement and developing talent from within.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her new role, Ochoa will provide enterprise-wide oversight of operations strategy, driving alignment, consistency and execution across the company’s manufacturing network. \u00a0All the manufacturing plant managers will report to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In a related manufacturing organization move, Kevin Fisher has been promoted from director of engineering & maintenance to plant manager at the Benton facility, with responsibility for safety, production, quality and employee engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ochoa brings more than 18 years of experience spanning operations, quality, supply chain, safety and continuous improvement. Since joining 3A Composites in 2018, she has advanced through multiple leadership positions, including production manager, plant manager and director of manufacturing excellence. During her tenure as plant manager in Statesville, North Carolina, the site achieved significant safety, quality and operational milestones, including 1.5 million hours without a recordable incident and more than seven years without a lost-time incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Vice President of Operations, Ochoa will lead enterprise-wide operational strategy and performance initiatives across the company’s manufacturing network.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fisher has made a meaningful impact since joining 3A Composites as director of engineering and maintenance in Benton, where he played a key role in implementing a computerized maintenance management system across the company’s North American operations. His technical expertise, collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement have helped strengthen operations and position the facility for continued success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his new role as Plant Manager, Fisher will lead the Benton facility and continue advancing operational performance, employee engagement and a culture of continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
