New color boosts design capabilities and meets today’s fire performance requirements
Davidson, NC – October 17, 2022 – 3A Composites USA is taking the innovative design and unparalleled performance of ALUCOBOND® PLUS to the next level with the launch of its new gray core. Effective October 17, 2022 the color of the product’s solid, fire-retardant (FR) core — developed exclusively to meet fire performance requirements — has been updated to gray from its original shade of white. This product design enhancement was achieved through modifications to the formulation that allows for greater design flexibility while still maintaining the product’s superior fire performance rating.
