Southeast of Paris, in the Val-de-Marne, sits the captivating Janus/Riverside office building by Brenac & Gonzalez. The eight-story, nearly 56,000 square-foot complex features a three-dimensional exterior façade. The architects won the competitive proposal for the project in 2012, completing construction in 2017.

In the heart of Limmattal, which spans from the bustling city of Zürich, is the new district of Limmatfeld. A mixed-use residential high-rise serves as the epicenter, soaring above the district with a dynamic and recognizable façade. The Limmat Tower was designed by architect Lukas Huggenberger of huggenbergerfries using color changing Alucobond PLUS.
A building, particularly on a college campus, can serve as an epicenter for creative and innovative collaboration. The purpose of the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation, according to the architects at Leddy Maytum Stacy (LMS Arch), “…is to re-energize design and manufacturing innovation at the national level, honing the integrated set of skills students will need to create an abundant, sustainable future.”
