The architects at JCY Architects and Urban Designers designed the Baldivis Secondary School as a “Learning Workshop,” a centralized learning hub that sits under a warehouse style roof.

Library Inspired by Original 1960s Building Strives For LEED Gold


The Jasper Place Branch Library was the joint venture between firms Hughes Condon Marier Architects (HCMA) and Dub Architects. The new library was to replace the old, but was still inspired by the 1960’s Modernist design of the original. The city of Edmonton required sustainable attributes in the building’s design, which was ultimately awards LEED Gold certification.

Sky’s Believe in Better Building is a four-story commercial office space by Arup Associates; reciprocate of the 2014 Wood in Architecture Award. The office and training facility was designed with community in mind and the promotion of improved well-being amongst users with flexible office spaces to enhance creativity.

Alucobond Spectra Green Panels Used On Literally Green Building

l‘Office 64 de l‘Habitat, a French housing association, built their new Bayonne headquarters with a very literal interpretation of the concept of green building. Wanting the building to be extremely efficient in terms of energy consumption, it was given several sustainable attributes upon construction. Using a wide range of architectural materials; timber, concrete, glass and composite, Arotcharen Architectes were able to create a façade with maximum climate control.
